Pokemon SoulSilver Version - Nintendo DS is a role-playing adventure that returns players to the Johto region in an enhanced remake of Pokemon Silver Version. Players begin their journey by choosing Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile as a first partner Pokémon before traveling between towns, challenging Gym Leaders, battling Team Rocket, and working toward the Pokémon League.
Gameplay centers on exploring, catching, training, and battling Pokémon, with the first Pokémon in the player’s party able to follow behind them throughout the adventure. After completing the main Johto challenge, players can travel to the Kanto region, take on additional Gyms, and continue building their team. The game also features the Pokéathlon, expanded breeding and battle mechanics, and compatibility with the Pokéwalker accessory for transferring Pokémon and earning rewards.
Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company in North America in 2010, Pokemon SoulSilver Version greatly expands upon the original Game Boy Color release.
