DIRT 5 is a bold, arcade-inspired off-road racing experience developed and published by Codemasters. Designed to embrace the culture of off-road racing, the title features a star-studded, narrative-driven Career Mode voiced by industry legends Troy Baker and Nolan North. Players can blaze a trail across 70+ unique routes in 10 global locations—including the frozen East River in New York, the colorful streets of Brazil, and the aurora-lit landscapes of Norway—all featuring dynamic weather and time-of-day cycles.
The gameplay is technically distinct for its 4-player local split-screen, which unusually extends even to the main Career mode, allowing friends to progress together on the same couch. Creative players can utilize "Playgrounds," a first-of-its-kind mode for the series where users design, share, and discover custom Gymkhana, Smash Attack, and Time Attack arenas. The car roster is equally diverse, featuring everything from 900bhp sprint cars and unlimited trucks to classic rally icons and rock bouncers.
