Playing primarily as Banjo at the start, you must navigate an isometric 2D world to rescue your partner and stop Mecha-Grunty’s plan to rewrite history.
The gameplay adapts the N64’s collect-a-thon formula for handhelds, tasking you with gathering Jiggies to unlock five diverse worlds and Musical Notes to purchase new moves from the mole, Bozzeye. Mumbo Jumbo returns to transform you into unique forms like a Mouse, Tank, or Octopus to solve puzzles. Your journey spans from Cliff Farm to Freezing Furnace, featuring multiple boss battles against Grunty and her henchman, Klungo.
