Gunstar Super Heroes for Game Boy Advance is a high-octane run-and-gun action game developed by Treasure, the legendary studio behind Gunstar Heroes, Ikaruga, and Advance Guardian Heroes. A spiritual successor to the Sega Genesis classic, this GBA exclusive delivers explosive 2D action, slick animations, and fast-paced gameplay that pushes the handheld to its limits.
You play as Red or Blue, members of the elite Gunstar team, each with slightly different weapon sets and combat styles. The story takes place years after the original Gunstar Heroes, with a new empire rising to resurrect the destructive God of Ruin. It’s up to the Gunstar siblings to stop them across a variety of dynamic, side-scrolling levels that mix shooting, melee combat, platforming, and even vehicle segments.
What makes Gunstar Super Heroes stand out is its constant variety.
