Set shortly after the events of Zero 3, the Resistance faces a new threat in Dr. Weil, who has seized control of Neo Arcadia and imposed a brutal regime. Zero once again steps forward, helping a group of human refugees flee to a safer world while battling a fresh set of powerful enemies known as the Eight Einherjar Warriors. The game’s tone is darker, more urgent, and deeply personal as it pushes Zero toward his ultimate fate.
Zero 4 introduces the Z-Knuckle, a versatile new weapon that allows Zero to steal and use enemy abilities, adding variety and strategy to every encounter. The game also features a Weather System that lets you choose the environment before each mission—affecting both difficulty and your ability to earn EX Skills from bosses.
