Developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Activision, this GBA-exclusive sequel to the original Game Boy Color game lets players swing, climb, and fight their way through the lush jungles of Africa in a classic 2D action format.
You play as a young Tarzan, now older and more agile, as he sets out to protect his jungle home from poachers, treasure hunters, and environmental threats. With his trusty vine-swinging skills and arsenal of jungle tools—including a spear, knife, fruit slingshot, and boomerang—Tarzan must traverse a wide range of vibrant levels filled with wild animals, tricky platforming, and hidden secrets.
Gameplay is built around fluid movement and exploration, with Tarzan able to climb trees, swim, crawl through tight spaces, and swing across long gaps. The controls are smooth and responsive, allowing players to chain together movements as they navigate dense jungle paths, ancient ruins, underground caverns, and riverside canopies.
