Description
Description
Donkey Kong Country for Game Boy Color brings Rare’s legendary platformer to handheld form, delivering the same barrel-blasting, banana-collecting fun that defined the Super Nintendo classic. Join Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong as they set out to recover their stolen banana hoard from the villainous King K. Rool and his Kremling army. Swing through lush jungles, icy mountains, and perilous mines while battling enemies and uncovering hidden secrets across over 30 levels of challenging gameplay.
Faithfully adapted for the Game Boy Color, this version preserves the smooth platforming, catchy soundtrack, and memorable level design of the original, while adding new collectibles, mini-games, and a save-anywhere feature for portable play. Whether you’re revisiting one of the most iconic platformers ever made or discovering it for the first time, Donkey Kong Country on Game Boy Color proves that even on a small screen, this classic adventure packs a big punch of 16-bit nostalgia.
