Super Mario Sunshine for Nintendo GameCube takes Mario on a tropical adventure to Isle Delfino, a sunny island paradise filled with beaches, harbors, and colorful towns. Mario arrives expecting a relaxing vacation, but things quickly go wrong when a mysterious doppelgänger frames him for polluting the island with strange graffiti and toxic sludge.
To clean up the island and clear his name, Mario teams up with FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), a water-powered tool that allows him to spray away pollution, hover across gaps, and solve environmental puzzles. Players explore large, vibrant locations across Isle Delfino while collecting Shine Sprites and restoring the island to its former beauty.
