Star Control - SEGA Genesis
Star Control is a science fiction action-strategy game for the Sega Genesis that blends space combat with exploration and diplomacy. Originally developed by Toys for Bob and published by Accolade, the game is set in a vast galaxy filled with alien races, political tensions, and interstellar conflict.
Gameplay combines two primary elements: real-time ship-to-ship combat and strategic management on a galactic scale. Players command a fleet of uniquely designed alien starships, each with distinct weapons, abilities, and handling characteristics. Battles emphasize maneuvering, timing, and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each vessel.
