Description
Description
Jarhead on UMD Video for the PlayStation Portable brings the critically acclaimed war drama to Sony's handheld entertainment system. Directed by Sam Mendes and based on the memoir by U.S. Marine Anthony Swofford, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Jamie Foxx, Peter Sarsgaard, and Chris Cooper in a powerful story about military service during the Gulf War.
Rather than focusing solely on combat, Jarhead explores the psychological challenges, uncertainty, and camaraderie experienced by Marines deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm. Through intense performances and striking cinematography, the film offers a thoughtful look at the realities of military life, the anticipation of battle, and the personal struggles faced by those serving far from home.
Released as part of Sony's UMD Video lineup for the PlayStation Portable, this edition lets you enjoy the feature film wherever you take your PSP. UMD Video discs became a unique part of the PSP library, offering movies, television programs, and other entertainment in a collectible portable format that remains popular with PSP enthusiasts and media collectors.
Whether you're expanding your PlayStation Portable collection, collecting UMD Video releases, or you're a fan of acclaimed military dramas, Jarhead is a compelling addition that delivers a memorable and realistic portrayal of life as a U.S. Marine during the Gulf War.
