Anticipation - NES
Description
Description
Anticipation for the Nintendo Entertainment System is a unique party game that combines trivia, word clues, and fast-paced sketching into a fun challenge for family and friends. Players race across a colorful game board by correctly guessing illustrated words and phrases before their opponents, making every turn a test of observation and quick thinking.
Watch as drawings gradually appear on the screen and try to identify the object, place, or concept before the illustration is complete. Featuring hundreds of puzzles across a wide variety of categories, Anticipation rewards players who can recognize clues quickly and think creatively. With support for up to four players, it's a great choice for game nights and competitive multiplayer sessions.
Developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in 1988, Anticipation offered a fresh take on the classic board game formula by combining digital animation with puzzle-solving gameplay. Its distinctive presentation and accessible mechanics helped it stand out among the NES library as one of the system's most memorable multiplayer experiences.
Whether you're expanding your Nintendo Entertainment System collection, collecting Rare-developed classics, or looking for a fun retro party game, Anticipation delivers timeless family-friendly entertainment that's easy to learn and enjoyable for players of all ages.
