Mega Man 4 for the Nintendo Entertainment System is an action platformer that continues the series with a new threat as Dr. Cossack emerges with his own group of Robot Masters. Players once again take control of Mega Man as he sets out to stop the latest uprising, only to uncover a familiar mastermind behind the chaos.
This NES action game introduces the Mega Buster charge shot, allowing players to power up attacks for increased damage. As in previous entries, defeating Robot Masters grants new weapons that can be used strategically against other bosses. The game also features Rush, Mega Man’s robotic companion, who provides abilities to help navigate levels and overcome obstacles.
Known for its refined mechanics and new gameplay additions, Mega Man 4 builds on the foundation of earlier titles while adding depth to combat, making it a strong entry in the series on the NES.
