Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt - NES
Description
Description
Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt - NES combines two of Nintendo’s most recognizable early games on a single cartridge. Super Mario Bros. follows Mario and Luigi through the Mushroom Kingdom as they travel across platforming stages to rescue Princess Toadstool from Bowser, while Duck Hunt challenges players to shoot flying targets with the NES Zapper.
In Super Mario Bros., players run, jump, collect power-ups, enter pipes, discover hidden areas, and defeat enemies across eight worlds of side-scrolling stages. Duck Hunt offers shooting modes featuring ducks and clay pigeons, with players aiming at the television using a compatible NES Zapper light gun. Because the Zapper relies on older display technology, it is intended for use with compatible CRT televisions rather than modern flat-panel displays.
Developed and published by Nintendo, this combination cartridge was widely distributed as a pack-in title with NES console bundles in North America during the late 1980s. Bringing together two games closely associated with the system’s early success, Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt is a classic choice for Nintendo fans, retro gaming enthusiasts, and collectors building an NES library.
