Madden NFL 09 - Xbox 360 brings officially licensed NFL teams, players, stadiums, and professional football action to Microsoft’s console. Featuring Brett Favre on the cover, the game lets players compete in individual matchups, guide a team through an NFL season, or build a long-term franchise while managing rosters and pursuing championships.
Gameplay introduces Madden IQ, a system that evaluates player performance and can automatically adjust difficulty across passing, rushing, pass defense, and rush defense. The Virtual Trainer helps players practice core football skills, while features such as BackTrack provide feedback on unsuccessful plays. Franchise and Superstar modes return alongside traditional exhibition games and competitive multiplayer, giving players several ways to experience the NFL.
Developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports in 2008, Madden NFL 09 marked the 20th anniversary of the Madden NFL series. Its adaptive difficulty system, extensive team selection, career modes, strategic play calling, and licensed NFL presentation make it an appealing choice for football fans and Xbox 360 collectors.
