NBA 08 - PlayStation 3
Description
Description
NBA 08 - PlayStation 3 delivers licensed professional basketball with NBA teams, players, arenas, and presentation from the 2007–08 season. Designed as part of Sony’s NBA series, the game combines simulation-style basketball with accessible controls, letting players take the court with recognizable stars and franchises from the era.
Gameplay covers shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and fast-break basketball while offering multiple ways to compete and develop skills. Players can work through season-based play, take on individual matchups, and participate in training-style challenges that focus on specific basketball abilities. The PlayStation 3 version also emphasizes detailed player models, arena presentation, and animations designed to take advantage of the system’s hardware.
Developed by SCE San Diego Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2007, NBA 08 was part of Sony’s PlayStation-exclusive basketball series before the franchise concluded a few years later. Its licensed NBA roster, period-specific presentation, and place in Sony’s sports game history make it an interesting choice for basketball fans, sports game enthusiasts, and collectors building a PlayStation 3 library.
