The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning - Nintendo DS
Description
Description
The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning - Nintendo DS reimagines the origins of Spyro in a more story-driven action adventure. After learning that he is actually a dragon raised by dragonflies, Spyro begins a journey to discover his true heritage and confront the forces of the Dark Master. Along the way, he is accompanied by Sparx and faces the powerful dragon Cynder.
Gameplay combines exploration, platforming, and combat as Spyro battles enemies using physical attacks and elemental breath abilities. Players gain access to fire, electricity, ice, and earth powers, giving Spyro different ways to attack enemies and overcome challenges. The Nintendo DS version adapts the adventure for handheld play with stages and encounters designed around the system's capabilities.
Published by Sierra Entertainment in 2006, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning launched a new storyline for the Spyro series and introduced a darker fantasy tone than many earlier entries. Its origin-focused narrative, elemental combat, familiar characters, and portable format make it an appealing choice for Spyro fans and Nintendo DS collectors.
