Description

Yakuza 4 - PlayStation 3 is an action-adventure game set in Tokyo’s fictional Kamurocho district. The story follows four playable protagonists: Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, Taiga Saejima, and Masayoshi Tanimura. Their separate stories gradually intersect as they become involved in a complex conspiracy involving organized crime, the police, and events tied to the past.

Gameplay combines open-area exploration, cinematic storytelling, and real-time street combat. Each protagonist has a distinct fighting style and unique abilities, giving battles a different feel depending on the character being played. Between story missions, players can explore Kamurocho, take on substories, visit restaurants and shops, play arcade and gambling games, participate in hostess clubs, and complete a wide range of optional activities.

Developed and published by Sega, Yakuza 4 was released for PlayStation 3 in North America in 2011. Its multi-character structure expands the series beyond Kiryu alone while adding new perspectives on Kamurocho and its criminal underworld. The combination of dramatic storytelling, varied combat, extensive side content, and a richly detailed city makes it an appealing choice for Yakuza fans and PlayStation 3 collectors.
