Yoshi's Cookie - Famicom
Description
Description
Yoshi's Cookie - Famicom, known in Japan as ヨッシーのクッキー, is a puzzle game starring Yoshi alongside familiar characters from the Mario series. Players arrange colorful cookies into matching lines, clearing the playfield by organizing the different shapes and working quickly as new rows continue to appear.
Gameplay centers on sliding entire rows and columns of cookies to create complete horizontal or vertical lines of matching shapes. Special Yoshi cookies can help complete matches and provide additional strategic options as the board becomes more crowded. The game includes single-player puzzle challenges as well as competitive two-player modes, where careful planning and fast reactions are important for outlasting an opponent.
Developed by Bullet-Proof Software and published by Nintendo in 1992, Yoshi's Cookie was released for the Japanese Family Computer and features Japanese-language presentation. Its simple rules, increasingly challenging puzzle design, colorful Nintendo characters, and competitive multiplayer make it an appealing choice for puzzle fans, Yoshi collectors, and enthusiasts of Japanese Famicom releases.
