Luigi's Mansion - Nintendo 3DS is a remake of the original GameCube adventure that sends Luigi into a haunted mansion after he wins the property in a mysterious contest he never entered. With Mario missing somewhere inside, Luigi teams up with Professor E. Gadd and uses the Poltergust 3000 vacuum to capture ghosts, explore eerie rooms, and uncover the mansion’s secrets.
Gameplay combines exploration, puzzle solving, and ghost-catching action as Luigi searches for keys, investigates objects, and battles spirits throughout the mansion. Ghosts must first be stunned with Luigi’s flashlight before they can be pulled into the Poltergust 3000, with larger portrait ghosts requiring different strategies to expose their weaknesses. The Nintendo 3DS version adds stereoscopic 3D presentation, touchscreen map functionality, and the ability to replay completed boss encounters through the Gallery.
Developed by Grezzo and published by Nintendo in 2018, Luigi's Mansion brought Luigi’s original solo adventure to a portable Nintendo system for the first time.
