New Super Mario Bros. 2 - Nintendo 3DS
Description
Description
New Super Mario Bros. 2 - Nintendo 3DS is a side-scrolling platformer that sends Mario on another adventure through the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser and the Koopalings. The game builds on the classic Super Mario formula with familiar enemies, hidden exits, power-ups, and colorful worlds while placing a major emphasis on collecting enormous numbers of coins.
Gameplay features traditional running and jumping alongside power-ups such as the Super Leaf, Fire Flower, Mini Mushroom, and Gold Flower. Gold Rings can temporarily transform enemies into coin-producing versions, while Coin Rush mode challenges players to clear a sequence of stages while collecting as many coins as possible. The game also supports cooperative play with Mario and Luigi, allowing two players with their own Nintendo 3DS systems and game copies to tackle the main adventure together.
Developed and published by Nintendo in 2012, New Super Mario Bros. 2 continues the modern 2D Mario series with a strong focus on high-score coin collecting. Its familiar platforming, cooperative gameplay, hidden secrets, and distinctive million-coin goal make it an appealing choice for Mario fans and Nintendo 3DS collectors.
