Description
Description
Pokemon Sun - Nintendo 3DS is a role-playing adventure set in the tropical Alola region, where players begin their journey by choosing Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio as their first partner Pokémon. Instead of the traditional Gym challenge, players travel between Alola's islands completing trials, facing powerful Totem Pokémon, and taking on each island's Kahuna while uncovering the mysteries surrounding the legendary Pokémon Solgaleo.
Gameplay centers on exploring, catching, training, and battling Pokémon while introducing several major features to the series. Pokemon Sun adds regional Alolan forms for familiar Pokémon, powerful Z-Moves, Ride Pokémon for traveling across the environment, and the Poké Pelago for interacting with Pokémon stored in PC Boxes. The story also features Team Skull, the Aether Foundation, Ultra Beasts, and locations spread across four main islands.
Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company in 2016, Pokemon Sun launched the seventh generation of the main Pokémon series. Its distinctive Alola setting, island trials, new Pokémon, regional forms, Z-Moves, and expanded story make it an appealing choice for Pokémon fans and Nintendo 3DS collectors.
