Yo-Kai Watch 3 for Nintendo 3DS is the biggest and most feature-packed entry in the hit monster-collecting RPG series. Developed by Level-5, this installment introduces a new setting, dual protagonists, hundreds of new Yo-kai, and a completely revamped battle system—making it the definitive Yo-Kai experience on the system.
The story follows Nate as he moves from Japan to the fictional American town of BBQ, while a new heroine, Hailey Anne, investigates supernatural mysteries back in Springdale. You’ll switch between both characters as you explore two cities, uncover conspiracies, and meet a wide range of quirky, pun-loving Yo-kai inspired by folklore and modern life.
The combat system has been completely overhauled with a 3x3 grid layout that adds dynamic positioning and strategy to battles. You’ll rotate your Yo-kai to dodge attacks, charge Soultimate moves, and trigger special abilities, giving more depth and interaction than ever before.
With over 600 Yo-kai to befriend, a massive amount of side quests, minigames, and even zombie survival segments, Yo-Kai Watch 3 is bursting with content. Local and online multiplayer modes allow for trading and battling with friends, extending the fun beyond the main campaign.
