Description

Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - Nintendo 3DS is an action-adventure set in the kingdom of Hyrule and its dark counterpart, Lorule. The story follows Link as he works to stop the sorcerer Yuga, who has begun turning important figures into paintings and threatening both worlds. The game draws heavily from the world and structure of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past while telling a new story.

Gameplay combines overhead exploration, real-time combat, dungeon puzzles, and item-based progression. One of the game’s signature mechanics allows Link to merge into walls as a 2D painting, letting players move along surfaces, slip through narrow spaces, and solve environmental puzzles in new ways. The item-rental system also gives players greater freedom to tackle many dungeons in a less rigid order than in earlier Zelda games.

Developed and published by Nintendo in 2013, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds blends classic top-down Zelda design with modern mechanics and a more open progression structure. Its inventive wall-merging ability, strong dungeon design, and connection to a beloved Super Nintendo classic make it an appealing choice for Zelda fans and Nintendo 3DS collectors.
