Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside - Nintendo 64
Description
Description
Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside - Nintendo 64 is a basketball simulation featuring officially licensed NBA teams and players from the late 1990s, with Kobe Bryant serving as the game’s featured athlete. Players can take control of their favorite teams and compete in five-on-five basketball with passing, shooting, rebounding, steals, blocks, and other fundamentals of the sport.
Gameplay includes exhibition games, season play, playoffs, and local multiplayer competition. Teams feature real NBA rosters from the era, while players have different ratings and abilities designed to reflect their on-court strengths. The game emphasizes a more simulation-focused style than arcade basketball titles, with offensive sets, defensive positioning, substitutions, and player matchups playing an important role throughout each game.
Developed by Left Field Productions and published by Nintendo in 1998, Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside became one of the Nintendo 64’s notable basketball releases and launched the Courtside series. Its official NBA licensing, Kobe Bryant branding, multiplayer support, and late-1990s roster make it an appealing choice for basketball fans, Kobe collectors, and Nintendo 64 enthusiasts.
