Description
Description
Madden NFL 2001 - Nintendo 64 is a football simulation featuring officially licensed NFL teams, players, stadiums, and rosters from the 2000 season. Players can take control of their favorite franchises while calling offensive and defensive plays, passing, rushing, tackling, kicking, and managing each matchup through EA Sports’ simulation-focused approach to professional football.
Gameplay includes exhibition games, season and franchise-style play, multiplayer competition, and extensive team and player management options. The game introduces Madden Cards, which can be earned by completing challenges and used to unlock legendary players, special teams, gameplay modifiers, and other bonuses. Players can also create and customize athletes while adjusting strategies and playbooks to suit different offensive and defensive approaches.
Developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports in 2000, Madden NFL 2001 features Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George on its cover. Its extensive game modes, official NFL licensing, collectible Madden Card system, and strategic football gameplay make it an appealing choice for Madden fans, retro sports enthusiasts, and collectors building a Nintendo 64 library.
