Gameplay stays true to the Metroidvania style, featuring a large interconnected castle filled with secrets, upgrades, and boss battles, while also introducing multiple “portrait” worlds that transport you to entirely different locations with their own themes and challenges. You can switch between Jonathan and Charlotte at any time, using Jonathan’s weapon mastery for close-range combat and Charlotte’s spells for powerful ranged attacks and support abilities.
