Description
Description
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for Nintendo DS blends farming simulation, life simulation, and action RPG gameplay into a charming fantasy adventure. Developed by Neverland Co. and published by Natsume, this beloved sequel expands upon the original Rune Factory with a unique two-generation story, allowing players to build a life, raise a family, and continue the adventure through the eyes of the next generation.
Begin your journey as Kyle, a young man who awakens with no memory of his past and starts a new life in the peaceful village of Alvarna. Tend crops, raise livestock, fish, cook, forge equipment, and build friendships with the townspeople while exploring dangerous dungeons filled with monsters, treasure, and powerful bosses. As your relationships deepen, you can court one of several eligible bachelorettes, get married, and start a family.
After the first chapter, the story continues through Kyle's child, introducing an entirely new generation of adventures, characters, and challenges. Attend school, develop new skills, uncover the mysteries surrounding your family, and continue exploring dungeons while protecting the village from growing dangers. This unique generational system adds depth and replay value rarely seen in farming RPGs.
Real-time combat allows players to wield swords, spears, axes, hammers, staffs, and magic while taming monsters to assist in battle or help manage the farm. Upgrade your tools, craft powerful weapons and armor, and customize your playstyle as you grow stronger throughout the adventure.
Featuring an engaging story, memorable characters, rewarding farming mechanics, and addictive RPG progression, Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon is one of the Nintendo DS's standout role-playing games. Its blend of farming, exploration, romance, and fantasy adventure makes it an essential addition to any handheld RPG collection.
