Description
Description
Aleste Collection for Nintendo Switch is a Japanese-exclusive compilation celebrating the classic Aleste series, one of the most influential names in vertical-scrolling shoot ’em ups. Developed by M2, known for their meticulous arcade-quality ports, this collection brings together multiple entries from the franchise with modern enhancements while preserving the original gameplay. Players pilot advanced fighter craft through intense stages filled with enemy swarms, screen-filling projectiles, and fast-paced action that defined the genre during the 8-bit and 16-bit eras.
The collection includes Aleste, Aleste 2, Power Strike, Power Strike 2, and the brand-new GG Aleste 3, created exclusively for this release. Each title features adjustable difficulty options, save states, screen filters, and training tools, making the games accessible to newcomers while still rewarding seasoned shoot ’em up fans. Original soundtracks, high-speed gameplay, and precise controls remain intact, delivering an authentic experience.
This is a Japanese import release for Nintendo Switch. While menus and documentation are primarily in Japanese, gameplay is largely intuitive and approachable. With its mix of classic titles and a new entry, Aleste Collection is an essential addition for collectors, retro enthusiasts, and fans of arcade-style shooters.
