Mario Super Sluggers - Wii is an arcade-style baseball game featuring characters, stadiums, and special abilities from across the Mario series. Players build teams from a large roster that includes Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and many others, then compete in colorful baseball games filled with exaggerated plays, character-specific skills, and themed environments.
Gameplay uses the Wii Remote for pitching, batting, fielding, and base running, with motion controls designed to make the sport easy to pick up. Different characters have unique strengths, chemistry relationships, and special moves that can influence performance on the field. Modes include exhibition games, training activities, mini-games, and a single-player adventure mode that lets players recruit additional characters and unlock new stadiums as they progress.
