Description
Description
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for Nintendo Switch 2 reimagines one of the most beloved RPGs of all time, rebuilt with stunning visuals, expanded storytelling, and a modern hybrid battle system. This award-winning remake covers the original game’s Midgar arc, retelling the story up to the escape from the city while adding depth through new scenes, characters, and gameplay refinements.
The story follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER turned mercenary, who joins the resistance group Avalanche to fight against the Shinra Electric Power Company. Shinra’s ruthless exploitation of Mako—the lifeblood of the planet—has given them control over the world, but resistance is rising. Cloud’s mission to destroy a reactor sets in motion events that will challenge his memories, his loyalties, and ultimately the fate of the planet itself. With expanded cinematics and richer world-building, this retelling captures both the scale and intimacy of the original while introducing surprises for new and returning fans.
Combat blends real-time action with tactical command-based systems, allowing players to unleash powerful abilities, magic, and team-based strategies. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition takes full advantage of next-generation performance, delivering smooth gameplay and breathtaking detail in both handheld and docked play.
This release also includes FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, a side story featuring Yuffie Kisaragi. As a young ninja from Wutai, Yuffie infiltrates Midgar to steal a coveted materia from Shinra, providing a fresh perspective that runs parallel to Cloud’s journey. Her unique playstyle and storyline expand the Midgar narrative, offering even more depth to this iconic remake.
