The PlayStation Move Navigation Controller is a specialized one-handed peripheral designed to complement the PlayStation Move motion controller during high-intensity gaming sessions. While the primary motion controller handles gesture tracking, the Navigation Controller provides the traditional analog and directional inputs necessary for navigating complex 3D environments. This wireless controller features a full suite of physical inputs, including a clickable left analog stick, a digital directional pad, and dedicated "X" and "O" face buttons.
Engineered for ergonomic comfort, the Navigation Controller mimics the left side of a standard DualShock 3 controller, allowing for intuitive character movement in action, adventure, and shooter titles. The rear of the device is equipped with integrated L1 and L2 buttons (the latter being a curved analog trigger) for quick-access tactical commands. It connects to the PlayStation 3 console via Bluetooth technology and features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, chargeable through a standard mini-USB port located at the base.
The Navigation Controller is an essential tool for Move-compatible titles that require free-roaming movement, such as Killzone 3, Heavy Rain, and Resistance 3. It is fully compatible with the PlayStation 3 system and can also be utilized on the PlayStation 4 for select Move-enabled experiences.
