Description
Description
The PlayStation Move Shooting Attachment (Model CECH-ZGA1) is an official Sony peripheral designed to adapt the PlayStation Move motion controller into a tactical handgun form for arcade-style gameplay. This accessory features a mechanical interlocking system where the external trigger directly activates the motion controller's primary "T" analog button, providing a more intuitive and immersive experience for shooting titles. Its lightweight, 150g design is balanced for one-handed use, ensuring ergonomic comfort during extended sessions.
The attachment is engineered for technical accessibility, featuring a top-facing aperture that keeps all face buttons, the Move button, and the status orb fully visible and operable. For secure installation, the unit utilizes dual "Release" latches to remove the top cover and a hinged rear door that accommodates the controller while allowing the wrist strap to be threaded through a dedicated slot. This design ensures signal integrity remains unblocked for the PlayStation Eye camera while providing a stable, high-force fit.
This accessory is the definitive tool for rail-shooters and arcade ports on the PlayStation 3. It is officially supported by high-profile titles including The Shoot!, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Dead Space: Extraction, and the Resident Evil Chronicles series. By mimicking a traditional firearm grip, it allows players to transition from standard controller inputs to frame-perfect motion aiming, making it an essential component for the platform's motion-controlled shooter library.
