Description
Description
Darksiders for the PlayStation 3 is an action-adventure game that casts you as War, one of the legendary Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. After being falsely accused of prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War is stripped of his powers and sent back to a ruined Earth to uncover the truth, clear his name, and restore the Balance between Heaven and Hell.
Explore a vast post-apocalyptic world filled with crumbling cities, ancient dungeons, and supernatural realms while battling hordes of demons, angels, and monstrous creatures. Wield the devastating Chaoseater sword alongside an expanding arsenal of weapons, magical abilities, and the powerful Ruin warhorse to conquer challenging enemies and massive bosses. Solve environmental puzzles, unlock new equipment, and gain abilities that open previously inaccessible areas in a world inspired by classic action-adventure games.
Developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ in 2010, Darksiders combines fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, rewarding exploration, intricate dungeon design, and cinematic storytelling. Praised for its striking comic book-inspired art direction by Joe Madureira and its blend of action, platforming, and puzzle-solving, it launched one of THQ's most beloved original franchises.
Whether you're expanding your PlayStation 3 collection, collecting action-adventure games, or embarking on an epic journey through a world caught between Heaven and Hell, Darksiders delivers unforgettable combat, rewarding exploration, and a gripping tale of vengeance, redemption, and the apocalypse.
