Haze for PlayStation 3 is a first-person shooter set in a near-future world where powerful corporations wage war using advanced technology and experimental combat drugs. Players take on the role of Shane Carpenter, a soldier working for the Mantel Corporation, a private military force fighting to control a region filled with insurgent resistance fighters.
At the center of Mantel’s power is Nectar, a powerful drug given to soldiers that enhances strength, perception, and reaction time on the battlefield. While Nectar provides combat advantages, it also plays a key role in the unfolding story as Shane begins to question the true nature of the conflict and the corporation he serves.
Players battle through a variety of environments including dense jungles, military bases, and war-torn villages while using futuristic weapons and tactical abilities. With its mix of story-driven missions and squad-based combat, Haze for PlayStation 3 offers a sci-fi shooter experience centered around technology, control, and the consequences of war.
