Description
Description
Master the art of the drift in the most technically impressive launch title of its era. Ridge Racer 7 for the PlayStation 3 is a high-octane celebration of arcade racing, pushing original hardware to its limits with native 1080p resolution and a fluid 60 frames per second. Combining the series' legendary physics-defying slides with a new level of tactical depth, this title is a mandatory essential for racing enthusiasts and PS3 collectors who want the definitive "1080p dream" experience.
Ditch the simulators and master the technical precision of high-speed slipstreaming. Ridge Racer 7 is a masterclass in arcade refinement, introducing a tactical slipstreaming mechanic that allows you to slingshot past rivals by drafting in their wake. The gameplay is a visceral experience of triple nitrous management across 22 stunning courses—growing to over 40 with reverse and mirror variants—set in vibrant locales like beachside villas and urban neon jungles. This entry introduces the series' most robust Machine Connector system, allowing you to modify over 40 vehicles with thousands of combinations for both performance tuning (engines, tires, and suspension) and visual flair (body kits, decals, and custom paint). The main Ridge State Grand Prix offers a massive career with over 160 races, while the online component supports up to 14 players in competitive Standard and Team Battles. Whether you’re chasing a Global Time Attack record or utilizing the later 3D License update for stereoscopic depth, this title delivers a vibrant and high-energy drift odyssey. The finish line is just a slide away—this title delivers the ultimate arcade showdown on your original PlayStation 3 hardware.
