Horizon Zero Dawn: COMPLETE EDITION - PlayStation 4
Description
Description
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is the definitive version of the critically acclaimed action RPG developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set in a vibrant post-apocalyptic United States where nature has reclaimed the ruins of civilization, players assume the role of Aloy, a skilled hunter and outcast searching for the truth of her origins. This edition bundles the award-winning base game with all additional content, including the massive story expansion, The Frozen Wilds, providing hundreds of hours of exploration and tactical combat.
The gameplay is technically defined by its sophisticated "Machine Hunting" system, where players must utilize a Focus device to scan and identify the elemental weaknesses of over 25 distinct robotic species. Combat emphasizes strategic planning over brute force; Aloy uses a variety of specialized tools—including Ropecasters to tie down massive foes, Tripcasters to set explosive traps, and various bows for precision strikes on internal components. The deep RPG progression features three unique skill trees that allow players to specialize in stealth, heavy combat, or resource management as they navigate the game's seamless open world.
Beyond the core game and expansion, this collection includes several digital bonuses such as the Carja Storm Ranger and Banuk Trailblazer outfits, the Carja Mighty and Banuk Culling bows, and a digital art book. Technically optimized for the PlayStation 4 ecosystem, the title runs at a locked 1080p resolution and 30fps on the base console. On the PS4 Pro, it utilizes dynamic 4K upscaling and HDR support to deliver enhanced visual fidelity, alongside a dedicated "Performance Mode" that prioritizes frame rate stability at 1080p.
