Description
Description
Spyro Reignited Trilogy - PlayStation 4 brings together fully remade versions of three classic Spyro adventures: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Players guide Spyro across colorful fantasy worlds as he rescues dragons, collects treasure, confronts villains such as Ripto and the Sorceress, and explores the Dragon Realms with his companion Sparx.
Gameplay retains the platforming, exploration, charging, gliding, and fire-breathing mechanics of the original games while updating the controls and presentation for modern hardware. Each adventure features distinct worlds, collectibles, characters, challenges, and boss encounters, with later entries introducing additional abilities, minigames, and playable characters. The trilogy features rebuilt environments, redesigned character models, updated animations, and re-recorded audio while remaining faithful to the structure of the original releases.
Developed primarily by Toys for Bob and published by Activision in 2018, Spyro Reignited Trilogy revitalized Insomniac Games' original PlayStation trilogy for a new generation. Its three-game collection, extensive exploration, colorful presentation, and classic 3D platforming make it an appealing choice for longtime Spyro fans, younger players, and PlayStation 4 collectors.
