Description

Sonic Heroes - PlayStation 2 is a fast-paced 3D platformer that brings together a large cast of Sonic characters in a team-based adventure. Players choose from Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose, or Team Chaotix, each following a different storyline while pursuing Dr. Eggman and uncovering a larger threat involving Metal Sonic.

Gameplay is built around teams of three characters representing Speed, Fly, and Power types. Players can instantly switch between teammates to race through loops, fly across gaps, smash obstacles, defeat enemies, and access alternate routes through each stage. The four teams offer different difficulty levels and objectives, while special stages, boss battles, and collectible Chaos Emeralds add replay value beyond the main levels.

Developed by Sonic Team USA and published by SEGA in 2004, Sonic Heroes was the first main Sonic title released across multiple major consoles at the same time. Its colorful stages, large playable cast, character-switching mechanics, and energetic soundtrack make it an appealing choice for Sonic fans and PlayStation 2 collectors.
