Croc: Legend of the Gobbos for PlayStation is a charming 3D platforming adventure that follows Croc, a brave young crocodile raised by the peaceful Gobbos. When the evil Baron Dante and his mischievous Dantini minions invade Gobbo Valley and capture Croc's adopted family, Croc sets out on a heroic journey to rescue the Gobbos and restore peace to the kingdom.
Players guide Croc through a variety of colorful worlds filled with platforming challenges, hidden collectibles, puzzles, and memorable enemies. Each level encourages exploration as players search for hidden Gobbos, collect crystals, and uncover secret areas while avoiding traps and overcoming environmental obstacles.
Along the way, Croc gains access to new areas by defeating bosses and collecting enough Gobbos to unlock special doors. Tight jumps, climbing, swimming, and tail-spin attacks all play a role as players progress through forests, icy mountains, volcanic caverns, castles, and other imaginative environments.
