Description
Description
Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown for PlayStation is the console adaptation of the acclaimed first-person shooter Duke Nukem 3D, bringing the wisecracking action hero's explosive adventure to the original PlayStation. When an alien invasion threatens Earth, Duke Nukem takes matters into his own hands, battling extraterrestrial forces through cities, military bases, space stations, and other dangerous locations to save humanity.
Players blast through action-packed levels using an arsenal of memorable weapons, including pistols, shotguns, rocket launchers, pipe bombs, and Duke's iconic Shrinker. The game encourages exploration, rewarding players who uncover hidden areas, secret passages, and valuable supplies while navigating interactive environments filled with destructible objects and environmental hazards.
In addition to the original episodes from Duke Nukem 3D, Total Meltdown includes an exclusive bonus chapter, Plug 'n Pray, featuring new levels created specifically for the PlayStation release. Fast-paced combat, over-the-top action, and Duke's trademark one-liners combine to deliver a memorable shooter experience.
Developed by Aardvark Software and published by GT Interactive, Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown faithfully captures the spirit of the PC classic while adding content unique to the PlayStation version. Its creative level design, satisfying gunplay, and iconic protagonist make it a standout addition to any original PlayStation collection.
