Description
Description
FIFA 99 for PlayStation builds upon EA Sports' acclaimed soccer series with faster gameplay, improved player animations, and an expanded selection of officially licensed clubs and national teams from around the world. Featuring over 250 club teams and numerous international squads, the game offers an authentic soccer experience that captures the excitement of the sport's biggest competitions.
Players can compete in Exhibition matches, full league seasons, cup tournaments, and custom competitions while taking control of many of the world's top clubs and players. Improved artificial intelligence, more responsive controls, and refined passing and shooting mechanics create a more fluid and strategic style of play than previous entries in the series.
Detailed stadiums, realistic player movements, dynamic commentary, and authentic team kits help recreate the atmosphere of professional soccer. Whether building attacks through precise passing or launching quick counterattacks, players have multiple ways to outplay their opponents on the pitch.
Developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label, FIFA 99 was praised for its polished presentation, extensive licensing, and enjoyable gameplay. Its combination of realism, accessibility, and extensive team selection makes it a standout sports title and an excellent addition to any original PlayStation collection.
