Description
Description
The Lost World: Jurassic Park for the PlayStation is an action-platformer based on the hit film, taking players to Isla Sorna where dinosaurs once again roam free. Rather than following a single storyline, the game features multiple playable characters—including humans, raptors, and even the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex—each with their own unique missions, abilities, and perspectives on the struggle for survival.
Battle your way through dense jungles, research facilities, caves, and other dangerous environments while avoiding deadly dinosaurs, hostile hunters, and environmental hazards. Each character offers a distinct gameplay experience, from using firearms and stealth as human survivors to relying on speed, strength, and instinct when controlling prehistoric predators. Hidden collectibles and secret paths encourage exploration and replaying levels with different characters.
Developed by DreamWorks Interactive and published by Electronic Arts in 1997, The Lost World: Jurassic Park was praised for its impressive graphics, cinematic atmosphere, and ambitious variety of playable characters. Its combination of action, platforming, and survival gameplay made it one of the standout licensed titles on the original PlayStation.
Whether you're expanding your PlayStation collection, collecting Jurassic Park games, or revisiting a classic dinosaur adventure, The Lost World: Jurassic Park delivers thrilling action, memorable levels, and the excitement of surviving one of cinema's most dangerous islands.
