Resident Evil 2 for PlayStation is a classic survival horror game that continues the terrifying story of the outbreak in Raccoon City. Players experience the events through the perspectives of rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to survive a city overrun by zombies and other horrifying creatures.
After arriving in Raccoon City during the early stages of the outbreak, Leon and Claire become separated and must navigate dangerous streets, abandoned buildings, and the police department while searching for answers and a way to escape. Along the way, players encounter puzzles, hidden items, and terrifying enemies that lurk around every corner.
The game features two interconnected story scenarios that reveal different parts of the narrative depending on which character players choose. With its atmospheric environments, resource management, and tense survival gameplay, Resident Evil 2 for PlayStation became one of the most influential horror games of its generation.
