Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - PlayStation is a survival horror game that follows Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape Raccoon City during the catastrophic T-virus outbreak. Set around the events of Resident Evil 2, the story sends Jill through streets, buildings, and ruined facilities while she searches for a way out and is relentlessly pursued by the powerful bio-organic weapon known as Nemesis.
Gameplay combines exploration, puzzle solving, resource management, and combat against zombies and other mutated creatures. Players collect weapons, ammunition, healing items, and key objects while navigating interconnected areas and making occasional split-second Live Selection choices that can alter how certain encounters unfold. The game also introduces a quick-turn maneuver and ammunition crafting, while Nemesis can appear unexpectedly throughout the adventure to pressure players into fighting or fleeing.
Developed and published by Capcom in 1999, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis expanded the original PlayStation trilogy with a faster pace and a more persistent enemy threat.
