Description
Description
SimCity 2000 for the PlayStation brings the classic city-building simulation to consoles, putting players in the role of mayor and master planner of a growing metropolis. Originally developed by Maxis, this version adapts the PC hit for PlayStation with intuitive controls and the same addictive depth that made it a genre-defining title.
Design your city from the ground up—zone residential, commercial, and industrial areas, build roads and highways, lay down power lines and water systems, and manage schools, hospitals, police, and fire departments. Your job doesn’t stop there, though—you’ll also need to balance taxes, budgets, and public services while dealing with disasters like fires, floods, and even alien attacks.
SimCity 2000 adds layers of complexity with terrain editing, underground infrastructure, and detailed city statistics that help guide your long-term growth. The PlayStation version includes a user-friendly interface and controller-based navigation to make building and managing as smooth as possible for console players.
Whether you're trying to create a utopian dream or just want to see how long your city survives under pressure, SimCity 2000 offers near-endless replayability. From humble towns to sprawling futuristic cities, every decision impacts your citizens and your legacy as mayor.
