Description
Description
Twisted Metal 2 for the PlayStation is a legendary vehicular combat game that pits heavily armed drivers against one another in a no-holds-barred tournament where only one competitor can survive. Hosted by the mysterious Calypso, the winner is granted a single wish—though his twisted interpretations often come with unexpected consequences.
Choose from a memorable roster of unique vehicles and drivers, each armed with powerful special weapons and distinct personalities. Battle across destructible arenas inspired by real-world locations including Paris, Hong Kong, New York City, Antarctica, Moscow, and Los Angeles while collecting missiles, mines, machine guns, and health pickups to outlast your opponents. Master hidden attacks, environmental hazards, and strategic weapon use to become the last vehicle standing.
Developed by SingleTrac and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 1996, Twisted Metal 2 expanded on the original with larger arenas, improved controls, more varied weapons, and a colorful cast of unforgettable characters. Widely regarded as one of the greatest vehicular combat games ever made, it remains one of the defining multiplayer experiences on the original PlayStation.
Whether you're expanding your PlayStation collection, collecting classic multiplayer games, or revisiting one of gaming's most iconic combat franchises, Twisted Metal 2 delivers explosive action, chaotic battles, and endless replay value.
