Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - Playstation Vita
Description
Description
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - PlayStation Vita is a story-driven Japanese RPG set in the Erebonian Empire, where tensions between the nobility and working class are beginning to boil over. Players follow Rean Schwarzer, a student at the prestigious Thors Military Academy, as he joins the newly formed Class VII and travels across the empire with classmates from a wide range of backgrounds.
Gameplay combines exploration, character interaction, and strategic turn-based combat. Battles use the series’ tactical positioning system alongside Crafts, Arts, status effects, and character-specific abilities, while the ARCUS system allows party members to form Combat Links that provide additional benefits in battle. Outside combat, players attend school, complete assignments, explore towns, and strengthen relationships with classmates through bonding events.
Developed by Nihon Falcom and published in North America by XSEED Games in 2015, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel began a major new story arc within the larger Trails series. Its detailed world-building, extensive character development, strategic combat, and portable format make it an appealing choice for JRPG fans and PlayStation Vita collectors.
