Description
Description
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection - PlayStation Vita brings two acclaimed entries in Hideo Kojima’s stealth-action series to Sony’s handheld system. The collection includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, following Solid Snake, Raiden, and Naked Snake through missions built around infiltration, espionage, cinematic storytelling, and tactical combat.
Gameplay emphasizes avoiding detection, studying enemy patrols, using camouflage and equipment, and completing objectives with a mixture of stealth and direct action. The Vita release incorporates touchscreen controls for functions such as weapon and item management while preserving the expanded content from the original Substance and Subsistence editions. Metal Gear Solid 3 also includes the classic MSX games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Unlike the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 HD Collection releases, the Vita version does not include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Published by Konami in 2012, Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection gives handheld players access to two major chapters of the series with upgraded presentation and portable controls. Its deep stealth mechanics, memorable stories, and additional classic Metal Gear games make it a standout release for PlayStation Vita and Metal Gear collectors.
