Gears of War: Ultimate Edition - Xbox One
Description
Description
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition - Xbox One is a remastered version of the original Gears of War, following Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as they battle the subterranean Locust Horde on the war-torn planet Sera. Marcus rejoins Delta Squad after being released from prison, beginning a desperate mission to strike back against the enemy threatening humanity’s survival.
Gameplay centers on tactical cover-based shooting, squad movement, and close-range combat using weapons such as the iconic Lancer assault rifle with its chainsaw bayonet. The campaign supports two-player cooperative play and includes five additional campaign chapters that were previously exclusive to the PC version. Competitive multiplayer also returns with remastered maps, multiple modes, and updated presentation designed for Xbox One.
Developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios in 2015, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition rebuilds the 2006 classic with enhanced graphics, reworked cinematics, improved audio, and refined multiplayer features. Its complete campaign, influential cover mechanics, brutal combat, and upgraded presentation make it an appealing way to experience the beginning of the Gears saga and a strong addition to an Xbox One collection.
