Gran Turismo 5 - PlayStation 3
Description
Description
Gran Turismo 5 - PlayStation 3 is a racing simulation that gives players access to an extensive selection of licensed vehicles, real-world manufacturers, and detailed circuits. Players can build a garage, earn licenses, enter racing events, and progress through a wide range of competitions while learning the handling characteristics of everything from everyday road cars to high-performance racing machines.
Gameplay emphasizes realistic driving physics, braking, cornering, tuning, and vehicle setup. The game includes A-Spec racing, B-Spec team management, license tests, special events, kart racing, rally competition, and NASCAR-inspired challenges. Players can purchase and upgrade vehicles, adjust performance settings, and compete across both real and fictional tracks. Dynamic weather and time-of-day changes add variety to select events, while the large car roster provides plenty of options for different racing styles.
Developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2010, Gran Turismo 5 was the first mainline Gran Turismo title developed specifically for PlayStation 3. Its huge vehicle selection, detailed presentation, varied motorsport disciplines, and simulation-focused handling make it a standout racing title for PlayStation 3 collectors.
